  1. Have you never set out to challenge yourself, try it,it can make you feel alive and give you a feeling of satisfaction and achievement.
  2. Practically walked the bike all the way through the lane and then dropped it at the end after all the ruts finished it was as slippery as ice, this is ridge hill just off the A49 below Hereford.
  3. You do know you can set a temperature and it will keep the room at that temperature by switching on and off when needed. The fan will probably run all the time and the cooling part will switch on and off.
  4. This pretty much sums up my trail riding today everything was well overgrown
  5. Had a good run on the dog today, dressed for the rain but i left after it stopped so sweated my nuts off all day and minutes after i got home it hammered down again so missed it all Only a few photos as it was too awkward getting the camera out with all my gear on, good start to the day the first lane had a small tree down i had to remove, it was easier doing that then turning the bike around Cleared and the start of my temperature rising Not many like this today Doesn't seam like anyone is riding these lanes at the moment their well overgrown This was horrible to ride deep 4x4 tracks either side of a slippery center rut, most of the track was covered in vegetation so you couldn't see what was underneath Further on i had to get out of the 4x4 rut, as i struggled to pull the lump out i thought @XTreme is going to love it if i give myself a hernia here lol Stopped to cool off before heading home
  6. Pissing down here again today, i said it before when you have good weather we have shit weather and vice versa
  7. Because I've seen what loud bikes have done to my hobby in the last 30 years, trouble is if you live for the now and not the future it will bite you in the ass.
  8. I was a twat with the loudest bike ever when i was in my late teens to early 30's but i'm a reformed man now, silence is golden as they say, but there is a down side I've never killed so many rabbits squirrels and peasants i mean pheasants since the bikes have been quiet
  9. We better warn his mate to wipe it clean of fingerprints after he's touched it or he could be implicated as well

  12. My room painting is going well, not. spotted a bubble in the paint on the ceiling in the corner of the room, i now have a 12" x 6" hole in the ceiling as there's no access from above, the upstairs Loo has had a very small leak for the last god knows how many years, i just painted over the bubble last time instead of investigating it and one coat is never enough no matter what it says on the tin Have i said i hate decorating

  20. I seem to have a lot to do with wheels this weekend. I got knackered wheel bearings to change on the winter wheel for the dog and have to fit a non gay tyre to summer wheel that.s fitted now. I have the re-spoked and rimmed spare wheel for the XR to make waterproof and then fit the extremely non gay tyre back on. oh and our new sofa is coming next Wednesday so she wants the living room painted

  22. I ended up going out for a little spin I've been tweaking the suspension and wanted to try it out . Added some preload to the rear as it seemed to be sitting a little low and i put the standard springs back in the front the progressive ones i fitted years ago i feel were were just too stiff, rides a lot smoother on the rough stuff going to try a bit more preload on the rear tomorrow see how that goes
