  1. Trick'd out Hornet by XTR....
  2. You're 1 of the 1st UK'rs I've met that actually skis....this is where I learned how to ski... https://skibowl.com/ It was only 50 miles from home...we'd go a handful of times every season...mainly on Friday & Saturday nights. By 7pm most people would pack it in for the night or just head for the bar....so we could do top to bottom runs w/ No lift lines....till 10pm. The cabin in the middle of this pic is called the Warming Hut & it's been there for well over 80 yrs...it's a great feature of this place as you don't have to get ski to the bottom to have a break....have a beer, warm up & then back @ it! My dad put me on a pair of skis there when I was 4 y/o...one of the best gifts he ever gave me.... & my brothers. I've ski'd every ski area on Mt. Hood & the snow has the tendency to be a little heavy & sometimes wet....(known as the Cascade Concrete) but if you can ski it, you can ski ANYwhere. And compared to the snow on the east side of OR, which is noticeably dryer & faster....there's thigh-deep powder sometimes....& is fortunately where I live now.
  3. I do remember that tale.... just about as funny as the time he broke his nose riding his boy's DT 125....
  4. Brings back some great memories @Nute.... spent alot of years night skiing on Mt. Hood here in OR. That 1st pic is nothing but a Ski freeway...
  5. Gotta admit, that'd give Bob's Vespa a run for it's money. Hmmm...maybe a new thread subject?....Battle of the Scooters. That oughta really make Buck's day.
  6. CB 750 at what looks like Bonneville...
  7. Gotta show this one to my brother... pretty sweet Ossa trials...
  8. The Screamin' Chief ahead of Doug Chandler....
  9. A buddy of mine from high school is heavily into drag racing....a definite Ford guy (we used to give him all kinds of grief for that) lol. This is his current stallion... a '65 Falcon Futura w/ a 347 ci SBF...punched out to 363 ci w/ dual quads & a tunnel ram. His qualifying time reads 10.05 but he's actually got this beast to run a 9.93...pretty damn quick for a 60 y/o car!...
  10. Wayne on his way to his 1st world title...back in '90...
  11. The Hurricane having a good think over his steed...
  12. Grand Ronde river just up from Troy OR.... some premium Steelhead fishing to be had here...
  13. Sounds just like the "Welfare Ho's " we have over here....
  14. Reminds me....need to give our car a bath while the weather is still decent. A nice perk I get w/ the Equinox is that when I take it in for service, it always comes back freshly washed. Gotta do the Trash/Recycling detail today...then fix the Mrs. crock pot so we can enjoy some beef stew tonight.
  15. It was a pretty cool ride.... definitely was the inspiration for this creation I did....
  16. Don't know for sure, but seeing who's bike that was....it probably is Olivers Mount.
  17. My 1st ride was a '62 GMC short-step P.U. ....3 on the tree w/ a non-synchro 1st gear...which I roasted one night. Had the only 2-speed manual in town after that...even took it skiing in that condition. I passed my drivers test in '78...in a '77 Honda Civic (my Mum's car).... 4-speed manual w/ a 1200cc lump under the hood... same color as this, but w/ a left side drive...
