Absolutely Anything YZ or TZ related are the one's that especially Turn My Crank .......................shhhh, I think I hear Buck headin' this way ...lol

Falling off is a Right of Passage.... maybe Bikists don't fall off, but REAL Bikers know all too well that feeling of hitting the deck-- whether it be on dirt or tarmac, it always serves as a great learning tool.

What can I say?....Once a Potcher, Always a Potcher! .....I can still hear Pete laughing somewhere.

A co-worker @ the bike shop I used to work for, had 1 of these.... What a Burly sounding beast it was w/ dual Akro cans Only downside was the dodgy rotary damper in the rear

Exactly.... the wheelbase was as short as my RD 400F....only about 52-3" My MetalFab mate's had a 43 mm carb w/ a V&H pipe....good for about 130 hp
-
Another possibility is that it's suckin' air somewhere.... @ 1 point I had reseal the intake boot between the carb & the cylinder head. A thin film of Permatex Ultra Black sealant cured the problem.

Those shocks seem like a perfect fit for the situation....

I bagged a ride on 1 of these that my MetalFab mate used to own.... 1st time I rode anything Hardley powered.... it was like riding a 2-Wheeled BigBlock Vette

Nice day out there Bob Since we know you're slightly on the vertically-challenged scale ....I can understand why it might be time to part ways with the Donkey. My brother had a '92 DR 650 back when I was still riding my XT 550 alot....& I remember how tall that beast was....he's 6'2" w/ legs up to his neck so the standover wasn't a problem....but the brick-hard seat sure was!
