Back before the days of knee pucks....

NOT fake here..... Took this today as I see them almost daily right in front of my house....from the top of the driveway...

On the contrary.... he's riding steel skid-shoes powered by Gixxer11. Twas amazing watching him sit on the handlebars & do a 140mph wheelie...w/ 10 other people on that bike.

Even though I was residing in a travel trailer for 5 months with no TV or AC....I loved it!...got to see a lot of kool places from aboard that trusty XT...

Then after 3 weeks, found a trailer & moved only 5 miles away from work in Bend....to previously mentioned trailer/RV park.... That 1st 3 weeks I was riding 800 miles a week as I was also going to Portland & back every weekend, trying to sell my house....

The summer of '06....remember it well. After scoring a great job w/ an Engineering firm in Bend OR, I stayed with my brother @ his place in Prineville....50 miles from work. Got used to scenery like this....parked in my brother's backyard Shootin' clays from his front yard....from a thrower modified w/ SB Chevy parts....

Guilty as charged.... but where I live now, Redneck is a way of life.
