    Old sayings.

"So broke ya can't afford to Pay Attention"....?
  8. Us bleedin' yanks need a passport just to enter Canada..... I can remember when that wasn't true....?
  9. Got a handful of favorites..... KR, Rainey, Lawson, Mamola, Martin, Dunlop(s).... But w/o a doubt, this guy is my hero..... Doug Henry was the 1st rider to ever win a Supercross event on a 4-stroke...which eventually led to the type of racing machines we see today in the MX & SX realms. He broke his back in an outdoor event which landed him in a chair. It didn't stop him.... he built the cage-bike & even did backflips with it while riding with Pastrana a time or 2. He also races in Snowcross events on a YamaSled in the off season. Nowadays, he's all about Adaptive Riders with that never-ending smile on his face....??
  10. Just to get your knickers in a twist Pete.....you should know that by now.?
  11. My 1st 4-wheeled vehicle was a pickup truck, born the same year I was....owned a truck ever since....got 2 of 'em now. Any self-respecting biker should have a truck!!
  12. I'm the oldest of 3 boys.... & by the grace of God, we were blessed with great parents...who are still together, alive & kicking. I can't say enough good things about my brothers. The old man did a great job teaching us how to Ride & Ski....can't thank him enough for that. My youngest bro was the golden boy....Mom & Dad sent him to private school during his high school years....which paid off well. They moved 3 yrs. ago to MN...just so they could be near him & his family which are associated w/ the healthcare industry. My middle brother & I see eye to eye on alot things nowadays...1 of which is being a step-parent. I've always had a circle of friends....& then a circle of Pals. My middle brother is my original Pal?.....even though we used to fight like cats & dogs until he reached high school yrs.? My golden-boy kid brother & his family.....
  13. Mt. Harris which I can see from my place.... near the north end of the Grand Ronde valley.
  14. When "It" starts, 2-Wheels is by far a better venue.....plenty of room (once you find that spot)...? Funny story: My wife & I were out for spin once up the Clackamas river on my XJ750....we stopped @ McIver park & found a spot to engage in "It". Just as we finished, we heard some people nearby about to cross the creek we were near... I'm pulling up my leathers & see @ least a dozen people wondering what's going on....funny thing is that ONLY 1 of them could actually see!...Pack of blind people with a chaperone!??
  15. My neighbors touring through some of the trees in my front yard....

After wearing Langlitz leathers for 20 yrs....finally sold them & bought this MotoBoss jacket....which ended up saving my life (literally) in a bike wreck in 2012. Also have this Bilt helmet which I got for a smokin' deal.....$60 right outta the box brand new...from the bike shop I used to work for....
  17. Thanks bud..... I did actually take that one myself. Wallowa lake is my Sanctuary.....it was the last place I saw my wife happy....so glad I took her....3 days later, she passed away. I always feel close to God & her when I visit there.?
  18. Really getting tired of the endless waves of snow....a week ago, it was knee deep everywhere when I got up. It then melts & dumps again....done that day after day for the past 10 days. I finally got down my steep driveway today for a trip to town for much needed food & fuel. Glad I bought another 5 bags of wood pellets.....the extra weight in the back of my truck made it possible to actually get back up that driveway. Warmer temps are coming by this weekend, so I'll be ready to throw a leg over the Mongoose & maybe get a bit of fishing in as well.??
  19. DOHC 60deg. LC V-twin.....outta character for Harley. Gotta admit though, seems like a decent lump. The rest of the bike is Fugly though.
