    Soup Day

Thank you! I have many sides, one side loves the history and such and always wants to learn. ...another side is silly and will still call them biscuits, but I'll keep it to myself going forward in life.....
  3. These are some really nice photos! You have a great eye for composition @Specs I had no idea, very nice.

    Soup Day

Hey, a biscuit to me is what it is, I want to call them biscuits, I like that word biscuit......maybe here biscuits are different......I'm sticking with it..... THEY ARE TOO BISCUITS ?
  5. I think logic and people's behaviour are two things that are unrelated at the moment. At a basic level people need to feel they have control, for lack of a better word, over something, anything in their lives and it can be the smallest thing. For some it is their house, or their job, or just how their closet is organized, but they need to feel that they are in command of the situation. Perhaps this is all he has to control and feels the need to do so in strange ways? But logic has left most I feel, long ago.

    Soup Day

That is a good start @Tym, you can learn to love the soup...... I am actually having some of my tomato soup tonight as well, always make big batches so you can enjoy for days to come! YUMMMMMM SOUP & BISCUITS. ?
  7. If I ever get the chance to visit Spain I would love to visit these places, and I can bring my ninja skills for gaining access to the locked doors.
  8. ahhhh, another beautiful day in Spain. Very nice ride! ? It amazes me how well things are preserved in that climate. Something just that old around here would be a pile of moss, ferns and berry bushes in no time.
  9. Damn, I need to work on those....they come with old age right? I do know some knobs, does that count?
  10. It was strange, not a hard road, but the dirt turns into a funny mush as the soil defrosts from the winter. I saw a soft spot, went to miss it, my front tire bounced a bit and my throttle hand got nudged and I turned my hand and the back tire caught the muck and spun around. Also, I was worried about the hard road coming up and was looking too close in front of me and not down the road....classic sleepy space out
  11. I love the bars, makes the bike look awesome, that is, more than it already was... You look very happy. ?
  12. Funny that you say that, I actually thought awhile ago to get some new tires. So I have two new tires sitting in my work room all ready to go. Then I started playing the stubborn game of "well you know, these old tires have a bit more life still, let's leave them on for a bit longer"....
  13. Oh, so the sweet comments only come after a few beverages.....I get it.
  14. Ohhhh I love history, you could start a thread and talk all you want about it, all good by me!
  15. I had put up a few pics last week when it happened, but things do get lost and forgotten. The Bark Buster twisted, the Double Take mirror bounced off my head and the shifter bent way back. The side rack was a little bent but everything faired fairly well. The crash guards have now been tested on both sides and work great!...lol
  16. Great photos, I love where you ride. ? I enjoy a few puddles, but that might be a bit much, even for me.
  17. Looks like a great ride, and nice weather too. I enjoy the bits of history you add to the story.
  18. Ride Log - March 27, 2021 - Royal Enfield Himalayan - Head Bounce Off Mirror Went for a beautiful ride on Bagheera. The forest was quiet and the clouds were low and the atmosphere was magical. ? UNTILL........ slippy mud / loose rocks / big rock / WTF / spin around fast / bounce head off mirror / oh dear fall down.....Bagheera's orange belly tells it all....
  19. Looks like another fun ride through some beautiful landscape. I love the old structures.
  20. I am also looking forward to not working as much when things are paid down. It is also near impossible to find an affordable home on the Sunshine Coast. The last year has seen a record number of purchases and a record low for listings. I think with COVID people are trying to get out of the city and the coast is so close. I would never be able to buy now and feel very lucky to have the land I do have. Enjoy your freedom ?
  21. Congrats! I am about 3 years away from that.....looking forward to it! ?
