  1. Thanks! ? So true, the Himalayan has good bendy bits....?
  2. Hey thanks.... ? ...but one of the perks of falling when you do the "YouTube thing", is, you have some great footage for your next video...lol ...of course you take the pic before helping....what are friends for.
  3. Your concern is touching.......literally.
  4. I went for a beautiful ride today on Bagheera. The forest was quiet and the clouds were low and the atmosphere was magical. UNTILL........ slippy mud / loose rocks / big rock / WTF / spin around fast / oh dear fall down.....Bagheera's orange belly tells it all.... Cameras were rolling, I am looking forward to seeing the footage. Will have to do a short video for sure. Oh dear, a few things are bent and I don't think I will be shifting with this shifter.....forest side repair time. At least it wasn't on my new exhaust side. ? I am good , but I am sure I will be a bit sore later..... . That's my one fall for the year, one a year is just enough!
  5. Well, what a nice shiny box you have @XTreme It looks.......ummmmm, really good, not awkward at all.... ? Not everyone can pull off the "party in the back top box" like you! ? Looks like the weather was lovely!
  6. Today is cloudy but not raining, yet..... So I think I will take Charlotte for a ride. Then she needs some maintenance already, as I have almost done 1000km. First oil change for her, always an exciting time in a young bike's life. I love the feeling of driving a vehicle for the first time after an oil change, is that weird? Regardless, it's very nice. ? Her chain also needs some attention and I have a new stand that just arrived that I can figure out. Fun times in rural Canada!
  7. Yes, normally it snowed from November to March, with December and January being really heavy and there were many days we were snowed in. I did enjoy "snow" days from school.....AKA "we can't get the farm kids in today".....it always meant I could play in the snow after I dug out the house. ? I don't think they get snow like that anymore, at least not there.
  8. I grew up in southern Ontario, which is more easterly Canada and in the middle of the Great Lakes, so we got LOTS of snow, some years we were climbing out the windows as the doors would be covered. Then, as the only responsible one in the family I had to shovel the driveway, which was a short farmers road.....ahhhh back in the hard days.... ?
  9. Too much snow for me. I am used to lots of green all the time. Although I enjoy your snowy pictures very much. I moved to the only corner of my country that doesn't really get snow, growing up in it was enough.
  10. I enjoyed that thanks. ? Good for me to soak it in, as it is a trip I could reasonably do in the near future. But...I really need to find some sand to practice in. Looking forward to Day 3.
  11. Knee-high to a grasshopper.... ??
  12. Bummer..."they" say......A stuck float can be caused by the premature death of the needle and seat, a fuel logged float sinking to the bottom of the bowl, or garbage in the line not letting the needle close fully. And other stuff..... Should be an easy fix. If I was closer, you could drop it off, I would enjoy working on that bike. ? It is nice to see the KLR out regardless.
  13. Greetings from the Grasshopper! ? ?
  14. I hope everything goes well and you recover quickly. ?

  16. Polka King around these parts..... Won grammys and everything...lol
  17. You would be surprised, my soup is very tasty ?
  18. It is a very rainy Spring day today. PERFECT for some soup making. I have a wonderful assortment of fresh veggies, most importantly the tomatoes. Making a Tomato Bisque style soup with some lovely homemade cheese biscuits on the side. I hope I have enough wine! ?
  19. Another wonderful report from beautiful Spain. I know the place did not spark your dark adventure side, but still very cool. ? It seems so nice and dry there, but I do live in a rainforest... Now I am looking for creepy dolls in the photos.....oh no ? ....thanks @Sir Fallsalot
