  1. Looks like a great ride. Nice to see some of the rougher roads, they would be a lot of fun on my Himalayan. ?
  2. I get it.... it can confuse people when I use that word... It is just the best word to use, I don't do the marriage thing, and friend doesn't cover it, my partner in life just seems right. ?
  3. Just some bread to go with that and I am a happy girl. ?
  4. Thanks very much ? I appreciate it. Both my partner and I have been in imaging for many years so that helps. I also love photography and filming, as well as editing. My partner does all the music for the videos, which is great as it adds to the whole production nicely. I do have a YouTube channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChWHkOm8ZDUQ8XzdHkbM9ng
  5. Some tasty looking meals, I'm a fan of the "Entree, toast with olive oil, melted sheep's cheese and the rest of the salad"......yum ?
  6. The road does go on and on, I just took a clip around one of the lakes as a short sample. ?
  7. My partner replaced his exhaust about a month ago so we have been comparing. I took his for a ride as well to see if I liked all the changes before I order the parts for my bike. It does sound nice ?
  8. The beemers look like they had a good day. ? That bridge looks fun to ride over.
  9. Took a lot of wiggling as things didn't line up perfectly, no surprise there, but I managed to get the new exhaust on my Himalayan. Looking forward to going for a ride to hear the new sound and see what all my modification have done. It has been awesome having a bike to ride, while working on another one, you would almost think I enjoy motorcycles or something.... ?
  10. On Friday we took the CBs for a longer highway run. They both have over 700km on them now, so we thought it would be a good time. This way on the highway involves a lot of corners as it snakes along the Coast. It was cloudy so the highway was super quiet. We rode for about 45 minutes then stopped at a small park to enjoy the view. We tend to get a little carried away with our signs here. So what can I do???? lol There were some great paths and even a bathroom. There was also a nice little picnic area, but so strange, as someone dumped a big pile of sand in the bay trying to make a beach, very odd. The lake was calm and beautiful. A really nice spot to come as many people never seem to stop here. It was a really nice run on the bikes. Truly what they were made for, smooth and curvy highway riding. I realized I still have a lot to learn about Charlotte, but it was a great ride. ??
  11. Take care @Tym ? So not like you have to supply details, but do you just not have an appetite or is it more about things not functioning right? ....maybe a "420" break would help, if it is appetite....
  12. What a beautiful landscape, stunning place to ride. ? I can see in your older photo that you just couldn't decide that day.....to tuck or not to tuck....
  13. What Bob said.....a way to get around emissions control...and The air injection system (AIS) routes fresh air from the airbox to the exhaust system in order to aid in the combustion of unburnt fuel, is another way of putting it. ?
  14. Well the first two new parts for Bagheera went well last weekend, the Booster Plug is on and the Air Injection Delete Kit is installed. It was great because I was able to remove a whole bunch of crap from the bike. Now onto the new exhaust ?. Looking very forward to this part, the Himi is going to sound good. I will getting out on Charlotte today for a ride first, then into the tent (garage). Also a few more rides planned for Saturday and Sunday and some video editing of course. ?
  15. Greetings from the Grasshopper! ? ?
  16. Had to stop to enjoy the view today. You could see some of the islands in the distance, even the snow on the higher peaks. ?
  17. Thanks ? I was a professional photographer for many years, along with my partner we had a photography lab and fine art studio for years. So it is something I love to do and can seem to manage with any camera, for the most part. It is a passion of mine for sure.
  18. Your excitement is showing.... ?
  19. You are missing out on some good fun, maybe if you got dirty once and awhile you would understand....lol
  20. Great shot, I look back at some of the first days I had mine and the photos, and I think to myself, how have I managed to get my bike so dirty. You know the kind of dirt that never comes off. Which is ok, the Himalayan's look good dirty. ?
  21. The time of year is here where I live, if you have a "burn pile", burn it. From land clearing, logging and such. Needs to be done before the Spring. Still makes the air smokey and rather unpleasant for dog walks. But regardless, the smoke in the trees with the sun was fun to photograph and a bit eerie.
