Did you really just "Honey" me?

Hey now.....that's not a bad idea!

His bike also has many of the same issues unfortunately. Not quite as bad as far as luck goes, but still too much. Now the bikes are cheap and parts are also. We knew this. The bike is super fun to ride and does all I could ask of it. I think it is just surprising how much so early on and then there is my luck....always something it seems. I'm not giving in yet! ?

Yes....I put a pic above.

You sure know how to cheer a girl up! ? I understand what you are saying. Shit happens.

I live a good distance to the dealership and they are not the easiest to deal with to start. I just always seem to take care of myself. Some things would have been covered but it just seems easier to fix things myself. Even though @Bruce would disagree, I don't like complaining. ?

Funny enough I have looked at Chinese bikes, they will ship to my door. ?

Here is a great example of this....

Have you ever tried a Ketchup CHIP? Don't knock it until..... According to a smart fella, there was a time when I could only do "cool"..... ? Does this mean I have lost some cool points...... ?

SO TRUE!!! 2021 ROCKS

The bike came in not such good shape, the dealership let it go with a broken dash, broken tail light and a flat front tire. Since then it just goes on and on... - (new) dash fogs up all the time - the engine is leaking oil - broken braided stainless steel brake line - the emissions unit clogged and spit gas in my face - the rim tape disintegrated into my hands yesterday - the bike does not start right now, you have to run it through some gears before it knows it is in neutral - the broken yoke bolt of course - all the rubber around the wires is falling apart I'm sure there is something I am forgetting. But for a bike only a year old and not even 10,000kms on it, it is a test of my patience at times.

It is strange..... Might have to return to my shopping....

I am learning this to be very true. The dirt puts years of wear on a bike in a short period of time. ?
-
Agreed!

I was going to come in and respond to this thread's title, but after reading all this I feel bad for saying anything. Ok, over that.... ? My 2021 has been good! Sure I could whine about my shit ass bike breaking every 25km, I could complain about the condition of apples at the grocery store, I could bitch about not being able to do things freely while out and about, I could even be sad about not being able to travel far from home. ? But really, it's all good. I have work, I have a nice place to live, I have some new friends and a bike that works sometimes. So far so good!

So true...it is almost a bit eerie. I have never had so many issues with any vehicle I have owned. ? I am almost getting stubborn with it, and refusing to let "it" win......could be the death of me this thing.....

The day was cold but sunny. It seemed like a lovely day for a ride. ? I was even waving at small children. Then something felt very wrong. My rear area was not functioning within normal parameters. I stopped to find out why. Ohhhh look.... a lovely SCREW has enter my rear. ? There began the tire change....after 2 hours and "almost" getting the tire back on the rim, I gave in and went to walk to the nearest place for help. I was quickly picked up by someone and taken to a local Tire Shop. There they stopped their busy day to help me fix my flat. They quickly told me the tube had been pinched in my earlier efforts, but they would try to patch it for me. After about 1 hour I was on my way with a beat up but rideable wheel. Time to deploy the "lady in distress" signal again. Within minutes I had a ride back to the bike. The day was getting colder but I managed to get home to a warm fire before dark. Here are some photos from the friendly Coastal Tire that saved the day. ? They had some nice decorations! For some reason I pretended I was on an adventure in Brazil, just no coffee unfortunately....? But really, you don't need to go far for an adventure.

Firstly, I would like to apologize to @Biker Paul as this is your welcome thread. Things can get out of hand quickly here. Bruce just likes to share his personal experiences with everyone, we try not to encourage him, it just seems to happen.
