The day was cold but sunny. It seemed like a lovely day for a ride. ? I was even waving at small children. Then something felt very wrong. My rear area was not functioning within normal parameters. I stopped to find out why. Ohhhh look.... a lovely SCREW has enter my rear. ? There began the tire change....after 2 hours and "almost" getting the tire back on the rim, I gave in and went to walk to the nearest place for help. I was quickly picked up by someone and taken to a local Tire Shop. There they stopped their busy day to help me fix my flat. They quickly told me the tube had been pinched in my earlier efforts, but they would try to patch it for me. After about 1 hour I was on my way with a beat up but rideable wheel. Time to deploy the "lady in distress" signal again. Within minutes I had a ride back to the bike. The day was getting colder but I managed to get home to a warm fire before dark. Here are some photos from the friendly Coastal Tire that saved the day. ? They had some nice decorations! For some reason I pretended I was on an adventure in Brazil, just no coffee unfortunately....? But really, you don't need to go far for an adventure.

Firstly, I would like to apologize to @Biker Paul as this is your welcome thread. Things can get out of hand quickly here. Bruce just likes to share his personal experiences with everyone, we try not to encourage him, it just seems to happen.

Oh my gosh, I love this. ? Some big points towards the MOTY right there @Tym. I hope you realize I will be putting stuff here forever...... Planes are nice and all, but...... Here is the best way to start. Why Canada Rocks #1....Meet Bob and Doug

Considering I started the year with my bike in parts, I have done pretty good. I have had several rides thankfully. ?

I am so happy to provide hope during these times. Hey, I think I found my camera.....?

Lovely countryside. Thanks for the castle photos! ?

Wow, that is really cool. Lucky you! What a guy @boboneleg I have always liked the Welsh Dragon! ?

Not that I mind paying for my fun, but I think you misunderstood my point. The idea was that Tym and I saw you to have more potential and worth than what the name implied. The stab you felt in your rear regions wasn't me, you might want to have that looked at.... ??

...honestly it is really only when I see I made a spelling error that I get annoyed. Now in this case I know it was intentional...but I still don't like it. ? Why do I care, I really don't know?????

You know, I have to be honest. I agree with Tym. I think this all went a bit sideways today. Really, how am I to razz someone with such a name as @Boring Cnut, it feels like kicking someone when they are down. ? This is one of those times when it might have seemed like a good idea at the time, but really, was it? I vote to change it to Bruce or just anything, spelling errors drive me nuts. Maybe just Cheeks.... please @XTreme can we change it?

Looking forward to seeing the results. ?

Bearing With My Himalayan - Part 2 - Fork Removal The time has come to change the front steering bearings in Bagheera, my 2019 Royal Enfield Himalayan. Bagheera has 6000km on him and that might seem early for a bearing change, but I believe the conditions I ride in can wear things out on the bike a bit faster. It's a great opportunity to learn more about my bike and as usual things never go according to plan, so this has turned into a multi-part video. In this episode we remove the forks and the steering stem while sharing some casual garage chit-chat. ??
