  1. Congrats! Have fun. ? . I never married, didn't see the need for more paperwork in life ? ...but my guy and me will be together 30 years in 2024....?
  2. Great photos....nice knowing your Strom.....that doesn't sound good ? Don't listen to Pedro you'll be a darkness badass on that Honda.....and you can get it dirty, so just think of the dark places you can go now. ?
  3. I think you are being very wise with listening to your instincts, some people never learn to do that. I have a few years to go for the older age parts, but I understand working for yourself and never being able to completely "turn off" or just knowing someone else will do the work when you are gone, nope, its all you. So a motorcycle is important for many reasons.........AND DAMNNNNNN I love that Honda, ? I have been thinking about something just like that, but I am still in love with my Himalayan for now. I am excited for you.....that bike just looks FUN!
  4. Sterling Noren is great. He has made some really nice motorcycle films. I think I have shared a few in the Motorcycle Videos section. He has some good advice.
  5. Today I'm off to get my fuel for the week-end as we do. I also have a spot in mind I want to stop at to see about getting some fun pics. Going to try and defend my BOTM win.... ? Then tomorrow RAIN or SHINE ? we want to explore a forest service road we have not been down. I also really want to get to some video editing as well, last week-end got too busy.
  6. You can not go wrong with DJI. I have the Spark, which I think the Mini replaces and it was a great place to start. The smaller ones can get caught out in the wind a bit more and the image quality might not be the top, but still very nice and easy to use. I also have a Mavic Air and it is a bit more of everything the Spark isn't, regardless they are so fun. Enjoy! ?
  7. WOW, nice landscape and smooth flying! ?
  8. I got some really bad bug bites the other week, they were they worst I've ever had. Thought perhaps I might start to mutate after a week....and oh....ummmm Sorry, that's all I have for now. ?
  9. Is that an invite to Spain?.....watch out I might just show up on your door step one day.....?
  10. Well that was awesome....looks like a lot of fun. Great photos and a cool ride report....thanks for sharing. ??
  11. You and me both.....I've watched and read too many scary stories to turn the light off in there.....?
  12. Nice riding, love to see how the Himalayan just rolls along. I can't imagine riding with so much visibility, it would be nice sometimes for a change. Not that I don't love riding through a rainforest , but you can never see what is around the corner. ?
  13. My Himalayan is my first bike with a centre stand, it took me a bit to get it. I was trying to lift the bike, with no luck. ?? Then all of sudden I figured it out......still looks a bit silly trying to get it off the stand without touching the ground...need to learn to do it while off the bike....getting there.
  14. You and me both, not for me.
  15. Canada is weird like that, there will be a TV show that was filmed in Canada and paid for by the tax payers, but I won't be able to watch it unless I live is the US, just an example of the backwards assness of it all.....
  16. Shopping SUCKS! I feel for you. ?
  17. I only have one option when I look in the Apple App store, the main company app? Maybe I can not get the app in Canada?
  18. Ok, so I installed Invision Community, signed in, have searched in different areas, but can't find this forum? What am I missing?
  19. Wow..... those are both beauties of a bike. ? I'm a Himalayan owner, not quite the same, but Bagheera is a handsome bike, to me at least. I have fallen in love with Royal Enfield's! Greetings from British Columbia, hope you are doing ok with the fires, if the smoke has made it to my backyard I can only imagine how bad it is closer to the source. Take Care ?
  20. Going to take it easy today, a nice ride around the hood, get some gas for the weekend and start editing my next Grasshopper's Ride video....got some creek and underwater footage to use. ? Then hoping to go adventuring on Saturday and Sunday around the local forest service roads. Maybe I'll try to do a ride report....?
  21. Soooo....how is the KLR doing.......hope you are ok too.... ???
  22. Just watched the interview, I think Charley has hit his head (aka, an anatomical unit that consists of the skull....) once too many. Regardless he seems like a nice guy and I'll watch the show for shits and giggles.... ?
  23. After only riding street bikes all my life, I am still learning about the joys of riding in the mud and dirt. Damn, the front sprocket area can fill up fast, looks like an archaeological dig in here. Lesson learned! ?
  24. If you don't like tools, I won't recommend a Himalayan then....?
