  1. Forest on one side, blue sky on the other, works for me. ?
  2. Oh I know....it's all good. I'm Canadian, so I'm sarcastic 95% of the time. ? They look like fun, but the height for me is a bit much, there's my excuse.... lol
  3. I was so hoping he didn't like it, that it was all hype.....but alas he liked it! Damn it, my bank account says no.....and my Himalayan is giving me the evil eye now... ?
  4. Greetings from the Grasshopper! ??
  5. That's so not a place I want to be.....YUCK Hope you don't melt. ?
  6. Another lovely ride report. The Strom looks so shiny and clean. ?
  7. Greetings from the Grasshopper! ??
  8. I need to ride highway bits in-between my gravel roads, how does the DR650 handle on the tarmac?
  9. Yes I could, but I'm lazy..... It's not really the ABS itself but the pile of stuff they added too the bike to accommodate it. The lines are routed in a silly manner as it was an after thought. ?
  10. It's the thought that counts....and the bike looks like it's thinking about it. ?
  11. lol....wow, well gives you something to work towards. Just think how fun it would be...remember a hose and water are friendly and will fix all. Then the polishing after just gives you some quiet time with your bike and a chance to see all the spots that will never be CLEAN again.....hahahahaha ? I think I need more coffee today...
  12. The new 2020 has it so you can turn it off, I have a 2019 (no option, just on). It's just one more thing to be a pain in the ass when in the backcountry. I managed for 20 years without ABS, so it can just go sit in the corner....stupid ABS.... Sorry, still a little sensitive after my day yesterday.....Damn annoying....I'll get over it. ?
  13. I know to some of you getting your bike dirty gives you the shivers, not your thing, that's cool. But for some of us getting dirty is one of the best parts of adventure motorcycling, nothing a hose and a bit of water can't fix. ? Bring on your dirt.....dirty bikes, dirt roads, puddles, mud, it's all good.
  14. I fell in love with the Royal Enfield and the look, the simple nature of it. BUT, I really wish I had the carb version and no ABS. The price was right as well. I was also getting back into motorcycling after a few years and didn't know which "adventure" bike I wanted. NOW that I know more I am looking at a DR650....about as simple as it gets....air cooled, no ABS, carb, 21" front wheel.....oh it sounds lovely....lol. I looked at the CB500X, but it didn't seem to have much personality. ?
  15. lol.....good thing you are here @Pedro or everyone would be running wild... ?
  16. Got old....getting dirty never gets old, I've got a good idea for a thread....?
  17. This video is from May, had some time to work on my footage lately. I spent all yesterday working on the most ridiculous after thought on any bike ever. The ABS was added to meet regulations, so they stuffed it into a silly spot. I finally got the line routed and on and now I'm worried it isn't tight enough. The true test is to take it out today and get it hot. If I don't have a shower of brake fluid I will be one happy girl.
  18. Greetings from the Grasshopper! ? ?
  19. Sharing my latest video from Grasshopper's Ride, a fun ride through the rainforest. Have a great week-end everyone! ??
  20. Travelling through the tall trees of the rainforest. ??
  21. Watched this the other day....being a RE Himalayan owner it caught my eye. It was great fun and I think the Himalayan held it's own very well. ? That CSC looks interesting but with a moody throttle and clutch I will stick with the Himalayan.
