We live at 10,000' so 75F is about as warm as it ever gets. Was at my shop in Denver this week - 101F. It's great up here in the summer but it can suck in the winter. Next week's ride onto Utah will be hot - well over 100F there

I'm 8 years old than you . I don't often act like it though.
-
That would be nice but I'll be wearing my usual Klim Badlands Pro jacket and pants. Wear them in all weather - the only thing I ever ride in.
-
I'll see if I can find ya another HD shirt if I happen upon a cool HD shop in Canuckistan or some other odd place.
-
Nah - doing it on the Super Tenere as it's more comfy for me. I don't really know how to prepare for the hot weather though - not much I can do about it. Just gonna have to sweat. Got up to 76F / 24C here yesterday - hot!

Have next month's trip planned and hotels sorted out. Leaving August 4th. Nice little jaunt to New Hampshire and back. Who's with me? anyone? Anyone?

He's not my type - too short.

Utah trip is in 9 days and my co-rider on the trip just cancelled. Hate when that happens. Guess I'm going by myself.
-
He'll do better on the next attempt, I'm sure.

Ride report with pics or it didn't happen.

Well yeah, but that's not saying much.

The Dunlop Trailmax Missions on my bike after the trip. These also did the Arizona trip so they have about 6,000 miles on them. They look ready for more and will do the Utah trip in a couple of weeks.

The Duc has 28K miles on it versus my 63K miles. He has it in the Ducati shop after each trip for service (oil, brakes. valves) and has had no problems. I do my own services and have had no issues at all either. So we've both been pretty lucky so far.

I do. I'm just a dumbass at times.

Another successful and fun ride in the books. Off to Utah in a couple of weeks - more pics of that later.

Todd's tire made it to my house - 3, 218 miles later - and looked pretty well worn. No cord yet - but not far from it....

Last day of riding and we left Riverton, WY at 0600 and headed south. Windy as fook today - the interstate was closed at 2:00 PM due to 60+ mph winfs that were blowing motorhomes and truck trailers over. Nasty stuff. Had lots of this to cover on our way...

I'll be sure to fan my ass with a machete next time I'm in Canada to prevent any unwanted advances from Canuckistanian homos.
-
It's worth the trip, for sure!

Of course not! Why would I have heated grips? Only the ES model Tenere has heated grips and mine isn't an ES.
