Got to bed around 11:00 PM and had to get up at 4:00 AM to cover the last 75 miles to Telluride for the start of the race. Got there at sun up and walking around the empty streets waiting on the racers to show up ....

Made it to Monrose just after dark and proceeded to the local Mexican joint for dinner and beers. It was as bad as it looks. Should cheese have wrinkles in it?

Had a cold drink and hung out at the fly fishing store for a bit. Nice breeze sitting on their porch ....

Met up with fellow marshal, Logan at Fairplay, CO and headed further south towards Taylor Resevoir ...

The ride south was nice with crisp air and the changing colors on the trees - it'll be winter in a week.....

Headed out to Montrose, Colorado and then on to Telluride to Moto Marshal another bicycle race. Had to wait at home for the temps to rise a bit before setting out. 42F / 5c before setting out...

$1,700.00 For one day bike rental and 2 nights lodging? If anyone wants to do this, I'll guide ya free of charge. Bike rental would be around $125 for one day. -
In most areas, I don't care about riding at night. But in my home area, there's just too many animals out in the dark to safely ride the curves and hills in the county. Don't wanna hit a moose or elk on a bike as that'd hurt quite a bit. Hit a moose with my truck once and it really fucked the truck up - would have been fatal to me on a bike.

We're gonna need pics.

Cool pics, Pedro!

Last night's snow total. Didn't get squat and it's kinda grainy. Not quite hail but not flakey, either. . Too cloudy to see much at the higher elevations but heard they got some more . Riding season is at it's end soon....

Nah - that'd never sell at an American truck stop. Too gay for even Starfucks to sell.

Check them out here: https://www.shelbyamericancollection.org/ Has really cool displays with moulds used in the engine and parts casting process along with loads of cars. Never saw one running though.

Blasted for home after that. 900 miles in a couple of days with decent food and fun with the wife.

Even had a honey liquor still and sold various types of honey booze that they made. That shit had to taste foul....

Weird as Hell place that the wife picked for dinner (fuel station hot dogs would have been better). She had the planked salmon and I went with some kind of flat bread pizza. 3 beers with some kind of dip with bread chips and I was out the door for $161.00. A bargain!
