That's the backup grill - main one is on the porch. Can't use charcoal grills here very often as we always have burn laws in effect during he summer as it's so dry. It's a winter only grill. The other one is propane which we can use during burn restrictions.

800 lbs-ish. Doesn't so much feel like it when it's moving, but it's a big turd for sure. Slowest motorcycle I have ever ridden - especially 2 up. -
"Hey you kids - get off my lawn!" Not much of a "lawn" really as grass doesn't grow up here. Couple of the neighborhood kids in our back yard ...

She bought it in September and it has 7,800 miles on it. Granted, I did all of them for her as she doesn't have a license for bikes. But she bought it as she wanted that huuuge assed backseat. Bit of a tank really - a bit broad in the beam, as they say. -

Yes please. Really like those things. I have no use for one, but it'd be fun to tool around on.

Continuing drought in Southwestern US and over-extraction of water by California, Nevada and New Mexico. Those states face a real water crisis if their populations don't start shrinking soon. The Colorado River, which feeds Powell and Lake Mead, barely flows now and the Lakes are at 26% of their former levels. I have no idea what the solution is, but the Southwest is just about out of water.

I hear ya - did northern Maine and back in a week last summer - a lot of long days in the saddle.

Canada isn't far away and we do trips like this 5-6 times per summer - you're welcome to tag along on one. That is, unless your TOTY status prevents your passing the border scrutiny to enter the USA.

I think he wadded it up on the twisty roads. By the looks of it, it rolled down the hill a bit as the top of the tank was messed up, missing seats, crushed from the top down, etc.

No more riding until next year now - should get the bikes back out in May or June for some more rides and ride reports.

Hauling ass across the desert is one of my favorite things; cruising along at 100+ mph with no traffic is just fantastic ...
