  1. I'm on my way over - sounds great!
  2. Sunny and cold in the 'hood today. Bright as fook out there ...
  3. Sunny and 32F / 0C yesterday and i wake up to 10F / -13C and 10 inches of new snow today. I'll be outside shoveling if you need me....
  4. That's the backup grill - main one is on the porch. Can't use charcoal grills here very often as we always have burn laws in effect during he summer as it's so dry. It's a winter only grill. The other one is propane which we can use during burn restrictions.
  5. Or Chief Beat-a-bitch from the Slapaho tribe.
  6. 800 lbs-ish. Doesn't so much feel like it when it's moving, but it's a big turd for sure. Slowest motorcycle I have ever ridden - especially 2 up.
  7. "Hey you kids - get off my lawn!" Not much of a "lawn" really as grass doesn't grow up here. Couple of the neighborhood kids in our back yard ...
  8. She bought it in September and it has 7,800 miles on it. Granted, I did all of them for her as she doesn't have a license for bikes. But she bought it as she wanted that huuuge assed backseat. Bit of a tank really - a bit broad in the beam, as they say.
  9. Wife's bike looking stylish without me in the pic, fucking it all up ...
  10. Yes please. Really like those things. I have no use for one, but it'd be fun to tool around on.
  11. Nice enough day here today but getting ready for 10"+ of snow tonight. And our street just finally got cleared, too....
  12. All of this occurred within 30 miles f my house - but I never saw any of'em. Bummer - wish I had.
  13. Continuing drought in Southwestern US and over-extraction of water by California, Nevada and New Mexico. Those states face a real water crisis if their populations don't start shrinking soon. The Colorado River, which feeds Powell and Lake Mead, barely flows now and the Lakes are at 26% of their former levels. I have no idea what the solution is, but the Southwest is just about out of water.
  14. I hear ya - did northern Maine and back in a week last summer - a lot of long days in the saddle.
  15. Canada isn't far away and we do trips like this 5-6 times per summer - you're welcome to tag along on one. That is, unless your TOTY status prevents your passing the border scrutiny to enter the USA.
  16. Forgot to post a video link to this location. Nice place to drive a truck! See:
  17. I think he wadded it up on the twisty roads. By the looks of it, it rolled down the hill a bit as the top of the tank was messed up, missing seats, crushed from the top down, etc.
  18. No more riding until next year now - should get the bikes back out in May or June for some more rides and ride reports.
  19. Our final day has us climbing back into the mountains - and the cold - back to my house ....
  20. Arrived at the hotel after dark - the view was better the next morning ...
  21. Hauling ass across the desert is one of my favorite things; cruising along at 100+ mph with no traffic is just fantastic ...
