  1. It was at this point we decided to say "fuck it" and head back. It was getting late in the day and we wouldn't get home until after 10:00 PM if we continued to Four Corners. Wil have to save it for another day.
  2. Looking back at the valley we just crossed as we climb up to the hills...
  3. A quick stop to get outta the Sun at the Bedrock Store. Closed now, used to be a fuel stop for us years ago, But no more....
  4. Getting closer to the cool air of the hills...
  5. It kept getting flatter as we moved along. Not a curve in sight...
  6. I have no idea what this old kiln looking thing out in the middle of nowhere is. Kinda cool though...
  7. Towards the south, the Canyon opens up and spits you back into the desert...
  8. Dropped into the curvy Canyon for a great ride to begin our day.....
  9. Made it to Gateway Canyon on Sunday - mostly empty roads, sunny and warm. I like it!
  10. Today we are heading south towards Arizona and the Four Corner's area. Pics to follow....

  12. Late in the day, so a few more snaps and we're headed home....
  13. We always called it the "Cowboy's Pants Arch" when we were kids....
  14. Had to do some off roading to get the best pic of the most famous arch in Utah; The Delicate Arch....
  15. This place is a geologist's dream, or nightmare - not sure which. But it is cool and otherworldly....
  16. Utah never disappoints, great riding, no traffic and good scenery....
  17. Sunny and warm here today, had to open our jacket's vents....
  18. Today we went into Utah. I've posted pics from these roads on other reports, but they sometimes bear repeating...
  19. Most company owned trucks have a speed governor on them and can usually do the speed limit for the areas that they are used. Some independent truck owners don'[t have those and can do 90 mph if they want to . Fuel mileage suffers greatly when they do that so they don't do it often. Speed limits on the highways we were riding on are 75 or 80 mph.
