  1. I still like the under the oil pan view the best - never saw anyone do that one before.
  2. Snag those doors / hardware and ship to me - I can get $300-$400 a pop for those here. I recently made some doors for a lady and she wanted the old, distressed look. Had to fuck up some perfectly good wood to make it look that way. Made handles from rebar and dinged her $1,000 for them. Felt kinda bad doing it, but I needed some new tires.
  3. Nice! I love the unique angles for GoPro vids - not the old " through the windshield shot".
  4. Pretty much. It gets warm enough to ride a lot of days still - but not until later in the day. Once the Sun has been out long enough to warm, things up. And the road crews have already thrown grit all over the place, making it kinda dangerous to ride on mountain roads. The roads and weather aren't too bad in the valleys and under 8,000 feet of elevation though. So once I get away from home and down the hill, I can still ride for a bit longer.
  5. Love the old pics with the same view in today's pics!
  6. No bike, but got out in the truck for a bit today. Was about 35F / 1.5C today, so not a lot of riding on my part. Saw a couple of twats in a boat - had to be freezing out there...
  7. Looks nice! I swear I'm gonna toss my bike in the back of the truck and drive 3 hours west next week.....
  8. Still cold as fuck here, so won't be doing much riding this weekend. Hoping you guys post lots of pics of rides so I can pretend to be riding.
  9. Tat free - too old for that trendy shit
  10. Don't we all, Brother , don't we all.
  11. Yammy T7 maybe? Between the CB500X and the Strom in weight, fast enough, not an old fart's bike, etc.
  12. No dinner tonight - too full from lunch still. I did have a couple of beers, but that;s it.
  13. I could eat that - especially since it;'s fresh off the boat. As the nearest ocean to us is about 1,000 miles away, we never get fresh seafood.
  14. Today's lunch; I had the Black Sabbath burger at Kuma's Bar, others had sloppy assed burgers with mac and cheese (not my fave) all topped off with a couple of beers. My bud Clint took the leftovers home to his dogs....
  15. Wife wanted to visit friends so I came along to hang out. She has hundreds of thousands of flying points and I have a Buddy Pass where I can fly anywhere she does for free; so the flights costs us nothing. She works for Marriott so we get rooms for free as well. Makes for cheap travel. So we often go to cities around the US for weekends just to hang out.
  16. Dude, I'm in Midwestern USA - the helpings are all freakin' huge here. Of course, you never finish what you're served and leave about 1/3 of it on the plate.
  17. Sitting in a hotel room in Indianapolis while the wife sleeps in. Bored...
  18. And as with any Mexican dinner, copious amounts of watery Mexican beer is required. I always have their version of a dark beer to give it a bit more flavor; Negro Modelo. Couple of pics of the interior of the restaurant; don't wanna go in here during an acid trip...
  19. Dinner last night was at a local Mexican restaurant where I had the arroz con pollo which is just as it sounds; rice with chicken. The chicken is grilled in spices and cut into strips and put on top of rice. Some white cream is drizzled over the top. Served with flour tortillas. A basic Mexican staple....
  20. @Pedro is always interested in what American foods we're eating so I decided to add a thread for him where I'll add food pics from time to time. Yesterday in Indianapolis, Indiana, I had lunch at a Skyline Chili restaurant. A Five Way and two cheese coneys. The Five Way consists of spaghetti pasta, chili with beans, onions and a small amount of cheese on top. Cheese coneys consist of the same chili over a small hot dog and again a smattering of cheese on top. The first thing I do when eating these is scrape about 2/3 of the cheese off. I mean I like cheese but wholly crap!
  21. I'd assume so. Amazing how much of that crap that people smoke on a daily basis - high all the freakin' time.
  22. I would assume so. The saloon we ate lunch in reeked of pot smoke. While it's legal here, it's not legal to smoke in public. But the ignored the mask and distance warnings, so why not ignore the pot laws, too. Everyone in there - all locals except us -appeared to be drinking a lot and smoking pot. Another day in their paradise I guess.
  23. No kidding - just a mass of shit lying all over the place.
  24. I don't think so - those look like just single bedrooms that they possibly rented at one time. Wheels are just for design - probably had some extras lying around and put them there for kicks.
