Their little protest was cancelled...so some of them walked up to the hospital and kicked off outside the entrance to A&E resulting in the site going into temporary lockdown.

I’d happily give them a genuine reason to be visiting A&E.

The place is fucking insane Dave!

They're not happy with just campaigning to destroy the country......they now want to kill everybody that's there!

We're restricted to only Granada province now.....which isn't a major issue. And I've just seen the stats for the different areas within the individual Andalucian provinces!

It appears that this area, which is Huescar, but also includes Galera, Orce, and Puebla de Don Fadrique, has only had 18 positives in the last week.

So that's pretty good going......because if individual areas get high numbers they get a perimetral lockdown. as is happening in Granada city with 933.

Here's the breakdown with running totals.....Fallecidos is Deaths!

We’re restricted to the Mazarron municipality from tomorrow once again as the numbers across the Murcia region are rising sharply even though locally it’s not bad (yet).

Can’t complain as within the 123sq miles there’s beaches, mountains, twisty tarmac and a good network of trails.......yeehar!

??☀️?????

And I think Murcia had pretty low numbers first time round Ray?

Portugal has been considered the country with the highest number of new infections relative to population yesterday, at least were first in something :classic_ninja:

I meant new positives per 1000 inhabitants, not deaths. But from what our doctor experts are saying, our hospitals are about to start folding under the weight so it might not take long. Just saw on tv that a few hospitals are tending to people in ambulances on the street instead of bringing them inside the ER, they're simply better there, which isn't very good at all. They are using ambulances as an extension of the hospital, how sad is that?

Very worrying indeed!

We're lucky that we live in such a remote place......plus we're not mixing with people apart from once a week to the shops. And when we go, they're virtually empty.

I am torn, the place where I have my home is near where 70% of Portugal's positives are, and the hospitals there are simply dreadful, but the house is nearer to countryside and I can spend weeks only talking to a couple of neighbors from a distance. Here, in my parents', I am in a theoretically better area but more densely populated when I leave the house to walk the dog.

We've been ordered to keep in, but this time people don't seem to really be taking it to consideration, whenever I go out I see traffic going on as normal outside including on the weekend.

For the first time, I am seriously concerned about our situation here and fearful for my parents' household.

Everything is simpler when I'm on the bike and just moving around ?

You all need a cruiser boat. Arc's are in short supply. When the reaper comes for me, he had better be able to fucking swim

He can just wait till you come to shore for fuel, though.

Yes mate but it just goes to show how volatile the situation is.

As I understand it we've now got the UK variant circulating here Ray.......and apparently it's much easier to catch than the original one.

We've now got a Brazilian variant here as well, to help things.

Well  I'm bored out of my skull today.  We're not supposed to go out except for vital shopping (don't need any) and exercise (I limit that as it causes me aggro with my leg).

I have nothing I can really do on any of the bikes and it's pissing down as well.

BUT,  at least I'm not in hospital on a covid ward so things can't be all that bad.

Are people following the restriction directives Bob?

So a night on the piss back in Wales now consists of visiting peoples' garden sheds? :classic_laugh:

Some people have done some real nice bar conversions. i can see  local pubs continuing to suffer after this lockdown because People are comfortable doing things at home now and may never go back to being a regular at a pub.
