Anyway.....it's now sorted! Not by me I should point out.......cos I'm not temperamentally suited to using tools. But I know someone who is......and he has Loadsa Fucking Tools!

Tym
If you think thats trick the bike will be hard wired to accept a class 2 120v AC 60Hz 500mA to 13.5v DC 1500mA power supply. Means i can hang her on a wall and plug her in.

That wiring could do with tiding up a bit, looks like someone's spilt a bowl of spaghetti on your bike

If he cant farkle and light up he sells his ride as "Stealth Beemer" due to general lack of interest. That takes some spin to pull that off! Have I ever mentioned this bike is fucking brilliant? I did have a vid from today but I couldn't publish it cos it's just full of motoring infractions from start to finish. Frankly I'm amazed I can maintain that same level of consistency for nearly 50 years!

I'm charging my phone on the bike as i use it for off road navigation and the battery just smooths things out at tick over. I also think the capacitor is duff on the reg/rec as the side and tail light flicker like hell at tick over, i picked a new capacitor up this week its one of my jobs on the weekend to change it.

Mine has done that from when I got it, but only when cold at slightly lower tick over rpm. When warm it evens out a little but you can see the pulses in the lights. Not that I care too much about the lights anyway.
