When they say bike, I think that they meant you to dress up in Lycra and pedal like hell.

I was reading this that came up on the TRF page

I've looked as well. The article you refer to, and others by Bennetts and MCN, refer to the law for guidance in Ingurlund.

I have a feeling that the law is different here. Didn't they make a lot of things law at the beginning of December in order to give the police more powers to deal with the National Park visits? I fear that recreational use of bikes might well be in there somewhere, but I can't find any details!

They expect people to get KLR's? That's a bit radical isn't it?

I think its a matter of using common sense there's no need to go visiting anyone or go into shops when out. you can fill at the pump if you need fuel and if you keep the trip short i cant see a problem,  when i went out a week ago coppers in a patrol car waved me out of a junction in front of them, probably to check my plate but never stopped me.

I could guarantee that I'd get done! ?

You know, when all this started "they" said just lockdown a couple of weeks and everthing will be ok, why people still listen to incompetent govt types is a common sense test imho.

I do think this problem is real I've seen how ill my wife was with it so i try not to take any risks. I've just had 14 days off work and have left the house twice to go on the bike for the sake of my sanity and a few times in the car to drop my daughter off at work, and the whole time watching the world carry on as normal through my window. Tomorrow i'm back at work with about 30 others on a construction site with all the hazards associated with it and travelling 100 miles a day to get there and back with the biggest fuckwits you'd ever encounter on the roads and that is deemed all ok by the government but go out on my bike for a few hours where i don't encounter anyone else on the quietest of roads and trails once a week and that's not allowed in case i fall off go figure

Don't hold your breath Fred. It'll all change before the end of the week.

Sturgeon leads, Boris follows and Drakeford will be obliged to follow suit.
