Nothing like a proper fresh line caught big seabass on the oven with onions and olive oil: Tried to immitate Sofia's pastries but it was a fluke, too bland flavours: The sweet ones used for dessert to go along a coffee were a big success though, with pumpkin jam and cinamon Sunday lunch, roasted beef with oven cooked raisin rice, and creamed spinach (these don't have cream though, just garlic, butter, olive oil and a little flour), last sunday's lunch, reminded me of my childhood when sunday was a special day: Melanzane alla Parmigiana, just cooked that for dinner tonight for my parents. No meat, it's grilled aubergines (traditionally fried but I dry grill them with a little olive oil midway through) with tomato sauce, plenty of basil, mozzarella and parmesan, assembled like a lasagna.
