Penne pasta with North Atlantic salmon, tomato, bacon and herbs with cracked black pepper. Salmon and bacon on the same pasta? Do you get fresh sardines there, Bob? Frozen are still good, just wondering

The moroccans do sardine meatballs, obviously with herbs and a couple of spices. You can’t do that with the tinned ones, but it’s really yummy.

Get yourself a tin of Surstromming by mail order from Sweden, then get back to me about stinky canned fish once you have opened it. Its fermented herring, someone told me they open it in a bucket underwater to try to stop it stinking the house out.
Saul
I don't mind tinned fish. Especially like tinned mackerel, lovely snack straight from the can. I have heard of Surstromming but never smelt, don't want to change that really.

It’s completely clear what’s there, it’s a typical munchy box, deep fried sausage, fish, hamburgers, onion rings, battered fritters, chicken nuggets and haggis nuggets on a bed of chips, personally I would add salt and sauce. 1
