Slowlycatchymonkey
I like them but agree tis the garlic butter that makes them. If it was a choice between garlic mushrooms or snails I’d probably have the snails because they’re not something I often see here but if I was cooking for myself the mushrooms would definitely win.
Pedro
Grilled garlic bread like brazilians make, that's what you want for garlic and butter. Slice most of the way through a thin french style baguette, put the garlic butter in through the slices and then grill it on coal. It's the perfect way to use garlic + butter + bread. That is ubiquitous over here, if you can’t be arsed to do it yourself every supermarket sells two or three types with the garlic butter already sliced and wedged for you. Some of them are really crap, some of them are pretty good.

The meatballs had my moroccan spice mix, and love, which made them delicious. It was amazing, and I’m typing this with a happy belly as I finish the second portion. The red wine is a Castelares Reserva, which is currently my favourite red wine, bought for special occasions The whole meal was very delightful. Pedro
Takeaway pizza in Espinho, pretty decent pizza too. Three pizzas and a garlic pizza bread for 30€, outrageous a few years ago but normal now.
