Using Tags!

Just to remind you that if you want to say something directly to somebody, and you haven't quoted their post, then use the Tag function.

All you need to do is press the @ key then type the first couple of letter of their username. A select box will appear and you just select the member you want.

Once you've done that they'll get a notification telling them.

If you've quoted their post then there's no need to use the Tag........because in that instance they'll get a notification anyway.

This Tag functionality didn't exist years ago, back then you had to send somebody a PM to give them the link to the original post.

So this aspect makes things a lot easier and quicker......and at least there's one thing where Social Media has helped improve the forum experience.
