The Govt (in their desperation to get any sort of trade deal with anybody) have given Freedom of Movement to Indians to enter Britain. FOM has gone for Europeans as you know......and in their place you're getting Indians! Thousands of them! The Govt doesn't want to rock the boat with them by imposing Covid restrictions on them so they're just letting them in regardless of any potential risk.
