skyrider
why is the modern trend to use O ring chains instead of split link, split link chains are a darn sight easier to get on and off

It's years since I had a split link in a chain......and I'd be very apprehensive if I had one now!

They last so much longer than the old chains we used to have. But like Tym says they still need checking and lubing.

Tym
O ring chains might sap some hp, not sure if it matters or not anymore.
Catteeclan
Used split link o ring chains on my off road bikes just for ease of swap and cleaning. 7 hours ago, Tym said: O ring chains might sap some hp, not sure if it matters or not anymore. A small angle grinder removes any chain easily and two hammers will rivet a link together easily

LOM was better.....I thought ATA went on a bit too long and they were struggling for stories a bit. I'd agree there but Keeley was better to look at. Have you tried Line of Duty? Haven't watched this last series yet but the previous has been good.
