First ride of July 2021 in Colorado

We made it home in time to get cleaned up and head to Golden for the monthly old car drive in and cruise. Guys with their old cars just drive through town and all of the locals get their lawn chairs out and watch. It was a good time...

Today's (Sunday) ride will probably be a bit shorter and we'll stick to teh hills and dirt roads to avoid traffic. More pics as it happens...

Love the Mustang, but the baby blue 3 door station wagon, that melts my heart!

Agreed.  There are always tons of Mustangs at these events, but few nice, clean wagons and trucks. They're my favorites.

Yes! My brother had two new ones back when I was a kid. When I was 12 or so, he'd let me back it out of the garage - was a thrill for me.

Well far be it from me to argue with a Brit about cars that handle like shopping trolleys (You guys were certainly experts at that back in the day) but the GT350 did win the SCCA national B-Production championship in 1965. Though to be fair that would have been the R version vs the H version I've shown above. Other cars in BP included the E-type Jag and the Sunbeam Tiger.

Again for the kids at the back of the room. Best. Mustang. Ever.
