Shove it through the washing machine every now and then! I used to work with a guy years ago who insisted that his wasn't a syrup! Anyone new there who hadn't met him yet we used to warn them about his wig and try to not make it too obvious looking at it when they met him. He used to say to them "I guess the guys have told you that I wear a wig?" He'd then try to get them to give it a pull to "prove" it wasn't a rug!
