My PC seems to take forever to load if a thread is picture heavy, is this because my graphics card is shit or the processor or is it something else ? Something we've had to do a few times when we took a faster speed from Virgin. I've heard stories/rumours of suppliers being able to turn down the power of routers to make you need boosters around the house, and of course they have them for sale. yen_powell Posted October 9, 2021 Share Posted October 9, 2021 I use a few different testers and I have noticed that the speed increases between the start and the finish of the test. I am sure all providers have a list of testing sites and some clever software gives you a temporary boost when you are using one.
