I thought El Pais seemed like the right one but back here I tend to check them all. I know the political bents and demographics a particular paper is aiming at (the sun, the mirror, daily mail, the metro, the telegraph, times, the guardian, the observer etc) and together it gives a good overall gauge of where things are going. In Spain Im oblivious and I should just stay happy in my ignorance.
