Just told Mandi it's your first birthday with out you mum. She said, "no, not going there, I'm tearing up already".

Think of the happy times and shed a tear, why not.

Ohhh, that is very sweet. Thanks 😊

Ya, hard day.  I thought it might be.  Thanks for your kind words.

To start the week I went for a walk to the shore. A quiet moment to sit and listen to the water hitting the rocks. πŸ™‚

The tide was high and you could feel winter’s chill in the air. ❄️

A lovely way to start the day.

First snow on the Sunshine Coast today. πŸ™‚❄️

Went out for a drive to get some wintery experience. πŸ˜¬

It sure is coming down now....glad to be back and snuggled into the van for the afternoon.

How long is the snow now forecast for? I hope it doesn't get too bad but it sure looks nice at the moment there

It snowed on and off all night.  Calling for more on Friday.  We did loose power last night and it got really cold. My down sleeping bag sure came in handy. πŸ™‚

Don't you miss being in a house in times like this Michelle?

Expand

Funny enough my old house got just as cold as it wasn’t insulated well when it was built.  When the wood stove went to sleep the place would get chilly.  The Coast never used to get this cold or snow this far south.

I actually find the van a bit easier to warm up.

I truly feel that way.  A little suffering can go a long way. πŸ™‚  I have a lot of good memories while suffering in the elementsβ€¦πŸ˜†

When i'm out trail riding with people and see some of them having a hard day and suffering i say to them, just remember you will never hear anyone sat around talking about how easy a day was but you will be talking about this day in the future :classic_biggrin:

Wow how do you film it all so smoothly?

I think 10 mile lake and Boya lake were my favourites.

Thanks, with lots of practice….some days it would take me a few takes to get a smooth pan, always worth the time. πŸ™‚

I fell in love with Boya Lake this summer.  We were there twice as I went back the second time to lay my Mom’s ashes to rest. 😴 I’m sure I will return again.  Beautiful canoeing and to visit Mom.

It was a stand out even on vid so in real life it must be overwhelmingly good. Great place for your mum and you to share.
