You're talking an R1 engine against an oldschool aircooled lump. Don't get me wrong.....I love the XJR. The R1 engine was excellent engine...i Remember they had grafted them to some yamaha snowmobile many years ago..and some turbo charged them... It was scary fast. Well over 200... Think around 260 or 280. It's was in 2001 we were drag racing on a Lac.. About a 1/4 mile stretch... And 2 guys showed up with 2 Rx 1 turbo charged.. The guy would park his machine about a 100 feet behind the start line... He was also the flag man... Would run back to his machine and pass the bunch of us mid way like we were not moving....
