Unfortunately the news are bad, the vet thinks his liver is too infected with cancer and the operation would be too risky, on top of that he’s 12. His advice is we should do nothing and let him have his remaining time. I will use a contact of Sofia’s to reach out to an oncology expert, though, and get a second opinion. I’m pretty shatered. Sorry to hear this @Pedro 2

Pedro
Went to visit my bike today: It's now very lightweight. Bearing and gearbox kit is arriving so the plan is to have it back together during the weekend.

He is a stunning dog Pedro, as long as he is happy, eating and not in pain there is no reason to rush into anything, I so hope the scans give some hope.

It is growing rapidly, so if it operable then it should be done as soon as possible. I’ll have an answer the day after tomorrow.

Sorry to be so blunt, only wanted to try and help from a distance. Of course if there is a chance pursue it.

JustaPor
I don't like one single bit of that bridge!
YamaHead
I used to ride across a bridge similar to that everyday....was a bitch when the temps dropped....every little intersection of that grating would have a dab of ice on it. I wouldn't dare sneeze, blink or even breathe going across it....coz you gown down, it's like landing on a cheese grater. My Dad went down once on the very same bridge w/ his old CB450....completely destroyed his exhaust & tore up his knee.

Pedro
Took this as me and Sofia walked the dogs the other day, saved it so I remember to get there on the bike one of these days. It's right on my way to my favourite part of the Alentejo, and I can see myself taking a couple of hours more if I get down this:
