We went out while it was still dry, it's due to chuck it down this afternoon.  Will you be styling and profiling this weekend ?

Tomorrow when I meet up with @Skippy.

Had a few things to do today like getting  horse feed from a couple of different suppliers, picking up pellets for the Burner, then had to deal with some bone headed work queries.

A few rails and obviously the bridges .  If you go 3-4 miles further down the line at Bitton there are working trains and a line .  I'll try to go there one day but it's a bit of a bunfight for the parking.

Absolutely brilliant Fred, I love that sort of stuff 👍

I went to a castle at Llandevaud (between Caldicot and Newport)  about a month ago .  Unfortunately it's privately owned (but ruins) and asked if I could take photos but they told me to f*ck off (nicely) :classic_rolleyes:

Best thing about those is there is no fee for parking or entry  very rare now

From here was Old Beaupre Castle another manor house, there was a short walk across fields to get to it, these were a little too friendly for comfort

The wife had me out walking again this afternoon i'm sure shes trying to kill me off the walk back up from it was long and steep

We visited the tallest straight drop waterfall in south wales Henrhyd Falls. Not very impressive today as the flow was low but a bit of fame attached to it as it was used as the entrance to the Batcave in the Batman film The Dark Knight Rises.
