Its my favourite bike (with the Livewire a very close second) but its not an all day bike. It has hard suspension and a slightly more aggressive seating position.

The GSF1250 is much more suited to cover larger distances. Smoother, more upright seating position, fine to leave if you stop in a less than delightful setting. It crosses into the sports tourer territory well unlike the 9T which is just plain fun.
