Our local (Shirebrook Motorcycles) shop charges £10..........Next nearest bike shop will do their best to sell you a new tyre.....but will repair it if pushed..but charge £30 for the privilege.

Last year on the bike.....the OE back tyre kept losing pressure. I needed to get that Dunlop Trailmax Mixtour POS off anyway.

The last one I had in a car was free if you go to the place that fitted the tyres and they still have legal depth tread on them.

Slowlycatchymonkey
The great British workman ladies and gents- Two can’t be arsed feckers turned up with the new oven this morning and couldn’t contain their smiles that “theres a problem, we can’t touch LPG” They even tried to persuade me to send it back and order something else so they didn’t have to unload it! When I say no it’s just a set of nozzles as it will be on any oven I order” they huff back to the van and the lazier of the two watches the other one unload a 120kg oven on his tod
boboneleg
If they'd have been Polish it would have been off the van and fitted in less than 10 minutes (Fat munters excepted) but of course they're not allowed to work here now are they ................ 2
Slowlycatchymonkey
Got even better talking to the idiot at the call centre who just kept telling me to return it and order something that works on mains gas He kept repeating the same nonsense on loop as if it was my choice. Eventually I heard the words “Listen sweetheart, I’m not a moron, pay attention” leave my mouth which is generally a warning I’m losing my patience. Anyway now I have two large range ovens, one broken fully connected up and one shiny new one completely unconnected Its quite cold out there, I hope his tongue doesn’t get frozen to the bus window while he’s licking it on his way home.
