XTreme
Just got back and still no water......it's been out since around midnight. There's an announcement on the Town Hall FB page: "It is reported that there is a general water cut due to an electrical failure at the well transformer, it will be restored as soon as possible." A woman posted "In 2023, shit in the bank, we'll be fine". So I'm off to Santander's office to take a fucking massive dump!

I've just been reading about the water quality in Valladolid. Apparently it's not potable. High levels of nitrates. And as farming isn't going to stop and nitrates don't just disappear it's unlikely to be rectified. They'll probably decide to increase the 'safe' limit, that's a nice cheap fix Wonder what the levels are around here?!

We always have plenty of bottled water cos disruption to supply is a regular thing. Quality of water is terrible......you always need to use a water filter.

Daughter buys bottle water for her husband, be cheaper if he drank petrol.

The water was so obviously flavoured I bought a Brita filter on my first shop after arriving here in Sept 2021 But even with that it still produces sub standard tea. I tested the total dissolved solids (TDS) and they're 376-380 before filtering. Filtering with a Brita filter only reduces that number by around 100 which isn't great. I'm getting a 'Zero' filter and if that doesn't do the trick much to my chagrin I'm going to have to switch to bottled. I love Spain can't be doing with it messing with my cup of tea!

XTreme
This is unreal! @Catteeclan......what do you make of this shit? Yesterday morning car won't start. Lunchtime it starts. Teatime won't start. This morning it doesn't start, mid afternoon it starts, teatime it starts......so we took it to feed the horses and it was running as normal. Has to be something electrical surely?

Iam going (hopefully ) for the day out and a look around, no racing (from what I gather) just some old and new era bikes buzzing around the track.

Your man will prob start with a diag to rule out said immobiliser and go from there.

Oxidisation of the battery terminals being affected by heat and humidity, pull the terminals, clean the connectors and battery posts with light emery paper, use some dielectric grease and refit.

Fucking thing started this morning......and kept on starting. Jesus reckons it could be battery related as well......and possibly starter motor. So to be absolutely sure, instead of splashing out cash, I've got to wait for it not to start and he'll come to the house to check.
