The storm passing by a few days ago reminded me of riding back from Morocco last year, and a bit ago with Sofia in Northern Portugal, I got properly wet both times using my 20 year old rain overalls.

Will order some tonight, anyone has any recommendations for rain plastic pants and jacket?

I have been using Richa gear through the last UK winter, totally dry and not ridiculous price.

Mr Slowly occasionally uses a Richa waterproof jacket and it is a good jacket. Well made and does the job.

Only problem with it is it's lined so it's thick. This makes it warm (too warm for Spain) and it's bulky ie doesn't pack down small.

No it's not.

That doesn't sound like your typical waterproof bin bag?!

I think we are talking at cross purposes, when you mentioned lining I thought you were talking about this sort of thing.   😉

The mobile bar saga continues! The screen came off quite easily.......but then it was taking out the bolts on the bracket that's fitted on the bike!

I'm sure you won't be surprised that I had to call the wife in!

Lining the holes up on the mobile bar with the holes on the bracket was a nightmare......but eventually we got the damn thing on!

Next stage......mounting the mobile holder on the bar!

Point of order, this should be in the Motorcycle workshop section.  Sort it out ...........

@boboneleg I did not know the oldest Methodist meeting place is smack bang in the centre of Bristol???!

How does a place that big disappear in the centre of the shops?

World in Bristol for over 20 years so I find that unbelievable.

A 'library' of 9000 books of the methodist religion and a room of worship replete with benches dating from the 1700's tucked behind Boots chemist?!!

Crazy!

Yep, you use to be able to get a nice cup of tea in the chapel.

In other news John Wesley used to preach at Hanham Mount just up the road from me and you use John Wesley Road to get down to the road where I live

Wesley would be horrified to see what the Methodist church has become now.
