However, weāll try to sleep in ok areas and search for places with parking. Also the point is to go through scenic places instead of lingering on slums. My bike has an alarm, plus one tries not to live in fear. Yep like Spain which has a higher bike theft rate than the UK. Its another reason why UK insurance is cheaper. In fact almost all European countries have higher vehicle theft rates than the UK due to ease of moving them across borders. Mind you I do choose my accommodation based on the parking. Like going to Brighton Iām staying 20 mins outside at a rural pub because itās not the sort of Ā place scrotes can be bothered to travel to.Ā Iām careful where I park in large towns, cities and ports. I carried the bloody thing for the entire trip but parking it in front of the hotel for one of the last nights I decided to put it to use. In the morning I forgot about it and as I was riding off there was a thunk! And down I went.
