If the weather turns really cold this winter the scoot will end up in the spare room, it is not particularly warm in there (rad turned off) but its dry.
Clive
In fact the scoot is coming in there tomorrow, there is a storm forecast for Wednesday and Thursday, there is a dead tree the other side of our boundary fence and it is leaning towards my shed, if it falls my shed is right in the firing line. 4

Slowlycatchymonkey
So how stormy is too stormy to ride in? I had a look at storm Agnes cos a friend I’m meeting up with in a week or so is riding through it from up north down to Portsmouth to get to the ferry on this- Not exactly great for winds speeds “up to 80 miles an hour” Would you ride it or put it in a van? Having been across Bodmin on a bike in a storm I’m definitely gonna say van.

Some folk just like to grit their teeth and go for it don’t they. Pit themselves against the conditions. Suffer with a bit of that myself, it’s stupid but you do it anyway When I had a wee ride in a storm (I’ll never do it again) I was on a much heavier, lower bike and luggage weight was low down, I still abandoned the insanity half way across Bodmin moor as ‘death or hotel?’ is quite an easy game choice
