So clean and very well restored. Was so taken by how good it was under the bonnet I forgot to take any more pics of it. 3ltr auto. Our next door neighbour had one of them old capris , was in the 1970's , he was a keen golfer, he would drive round the alley where we used to play as kids after golf as pissed as a fart... fuck knows how he got home with out hitting anything, one time he came home closely followed by the police and got nicked .

Steve McQueen did the same on a Benz 300SL during the filming of The Great Escape, being chased by cops into the film set. He must have been better than your neighbour, or more famous.

Not without fault but our Octavias were hammered and not really serviced properly. Even so 10 cars over 5 years around 150000 miles each I think we only had 3 breakdowns and one burnt to the ground but that was user error. I had an Octavia vRS TDI estate a number of years ago as my company car. The boot was huge and it went pretty well too! The only downside was that it didn't really like a lot of town work, so, when I'd been doing a bit of driving around London for a few days the DPF would clog and a couple of times wouldn't regenerate, so it had to go into the dealers to get sorted. Other than that it was a brilliant car. It went back to the lease company with 100k miles and still looked like new.

YamaHead
Start prepping for a week w/o the missus....she's leaving Wed. for her hometown (Emmett ID) to sit with her 12y/o grand-daughter while her son & daughter-in-law pay a visit to Nashville TN. She's making me some of her kick-ass meatloaf for me to survive on while she's away. Had to run off 7 deer this morning outta the backyard....keeps her dog from getting beat up by one again....gave that dog a concussion & a coupla staples in her head last time. That dog thinks she's 10ft. tall & bulletproof....she's a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix & can run like a gazelle. 4

Sir Fallsalot
Fucking insurance company is at it again, tried to change the bikes over tonight, all that's different is the registration number and the value of the bike, they want £66 off me to do it i only paid £86 for the year and its a month old fucking twats i told them i'd phone back tomorrow once i processed it all and hopefully i'll get someone who i don't have to ask to repeat every question three times before i get the gist of what they are asking. 3 1
