where does the temporary paperwork appear from ?

You go to a registry office, or a notary, deliver the old title and a change of property form, and are left with a disused title and a temporary paper. Eventually, within a week or so the new title arrives in the mail.

Physically take the registration paper, not the bike. Anyway, that’s the price I pay to live in a place where people don’t fry candy bars.

Broke down, car not bike ... bloody annoying.

Fortunately have a recovery policy who gave me a projected wait time of 2+ hrs before the recovery truck could get there, plus apparently it was a Β£40 excess for recovery ..

The tow truck showed up in about 45 mins so can't fault that, and the guy helped me push it into the garage once we got it home.  Turns out he used to live in Finland (the place id love to live given the choice) and was a really nice guy.

Had a quick look when I got home, fuel getting to the carb OK, carb working OK, nothing obviously wrong with the distributer but that is as far as I got before going out on my bike. I'll have another look at it later in the week 😞

Off to the hospital with the missus to speak to the cardiologist about her arrhythmia which has been so bad she’s had to have an ambulance to get her to the hospital on two occasions over the past month or so.

I believe there’s an operation she can have which has a 98% success rate and it’s only day surgery.

Stressful times.

Ah, a kit car, did you build it yourself?

Expand

No, bought it from the guy that did but he then lost interest so lots of kinks to iron out. It had less than 300 miles on it.  As I can’t afford a real one this is the closest im going to get.

It’s great fun, tho ( when it’s working) I doubt it would beat a Tesla away from the lights.

I hope she’s ok and all goes smoothly for her, sounds scary to say the least.

Thanks for all your support folks.

So, the cardiologist couldn’t see any signs of arrhythmia in the ECG she had today but has seen the results of when she’s had an episode and it’s evident during those periods. He’s now referred her to an arrhythmia specialist so they can try and get to the bottom of the matter.

At least it shouldn’t take long to get an appointment but in the meantime she’s to remain on beta blockers and avoid certain foodstuffs and drinks…….no alcohol 🀣
