You live in a tree house, in the middle of the biggest forest? 1
Earache
5 hours ago, Clive said: We get so little snow here, and to a point ice too, so our local council hardly salts any roads, if some snow fell and got deep we would be totally stuffed because our council does not have any snow ploughs, I can understand why, because for years it would be standing about doing bugger all because of the lack of snow. High of -12C here today with snow. Locals will barely notice that it's cold and snowing. I'm just kidding you - I realize a little snow there is a big deal for the reasons you stated.

I alway use to say that I hoped we would get 3ft+ of the snow, not be buggering about with 2, 3 or 4 inch of it, gonna do it, do it right.

Tell them no, you can't have restrictions on your work. Who knows what is around the corner, circumstances can change. Been through this with my Mrs when she sold her Hairdressing Salon 20 years ago now. They tried to stop her working at all within a 5 miles radius of the Salon for 5 years, we got the clause removed and the sale went ahead just fine. I think these clauses are a default that are put into business sales contract, of course you can't agree to that.

Buckster Posted Thursday at 18:17 Share Posted Thursday at 18:17 I had my full winter gear on today, except for boots, I just wore my usual Harley boots. I had found my triple layer sub zero balaclava that I bought many years ago as well, I stayed nice and warm and had the chin piece on my lid flipped open all the time. It was definitely starting to freeze on my way home, it will be getting dicey out there now.

Catteeclan Posted Friday at 07:06 Share Posted Friday at 07:06 Taking Mandis Toyota CHR for a recall this morn. Turns out these are some of the range of Toyota and Lexus that are very easy to steal. Their fix is fitting a tracker. At the September service we mentioned the front speakers rattling in the dash, I had to sort that as they couldn't see a prob. Fuckin buzzing used to drive us mad. Also mentioned was the rear seat belt alarms would go off thinking there was someone on the middle seat we there was nothing. So we plugged in the seat belt to shut it up. Picked up a friend yesterday on the way to work and all the rear lights and alarms went off. Will mention this again as it's supposed to have the warranty extended a year after each service carried out by them. I think I'll start looking after it myself if they try and wiggle out of it again. 4
Catteeclan Posted Friday at 13:50 Share Posted Friday at 13:50 Car collected. Still couldn't find any prob with the rear seat alarms but won't charge us for the diag. Just bloody try. I can't imagine it's an easy fault to sort if honest. Oh we did get sent a vid of them walking around the car telling us how much tread was left on the tyres.

YamaHead Posted Sunday at 03:49 Share Posted Sunday at 03:49 Was out Riding earlier today....up Cemetary rd. & back down to Indian Cr. rd. & was surprised to find an Airplane parked in the middle of the road.... turns out that the pilot was on his way to TX from Seattle...& had some mechanical malfunctions of some type...had to make an emergency landing. He brought the plane down safely, avoiding any power lines....tbh- he picked a good spot to land it as that road has minimal traffic & is close to Hwy 82 @ the south edge of Elgin. Definitely not something we see everyday around here....
