Give it a fluid change too if you're feeling up to it.

Yep will do if it is ever here long enough.  Was going to do it this morning but her latest Bo is playing rugby in St Austell so she is in their doing the WAG thing.   It's coming up for an oil change in 400 miles so will prolly do it all at the same time.   😉

It’s snowing! It’s really chucking it down!

Prob a couple of inches so far, tho it feels quite wet so might turn to rain at some point. New doggie thinks it’s great, can’t bloody get him inside, racing around in it like he’s had a triple espresso and a dose of speed.

So how many inches do you think you will get tonight?

He did say it might turn wet and soft, maybe no inches :classic_sad:

That's the way it's been here this year....snows at night but melts off by the next afternoon. We had 5-6 inches of snow this time last year....only good thing is that it's cheaper to heat the house when the temps are in the 40'sF during the day....& hasn't got any lower than 23F at night.

Well at least it a little warmer, must be all of 5c in the bungalow. 😂

You have an excuse to bump uglies now, we don’t need pictures.

Wife has to ring National Grid and the Housing association tomorrow, hopefully one of them will get their asses in gear and get the problem sorted, but not holding my breath for a quick resolution.

It’s not ok for you to be home  in the snow with no heat or hot water, isn’t there a friend that would be happy to take you for a few days?

Been off work this weekend with the lurgy, felt like shit but still tried to get some minor stuff done.   Started up the Hornet for 20 minutes to run it up to temperature to keep it happy.
Also looking around my big shed/workshop found an Aldi middle aisle vice I bought years ago and had forgotten about.   Got it set up in my bike gear shed for some small little jobs which it should be fine for.

The Agribatt usb charger is working out fine.

Was going to fit a break out switching box for electrical stuff on the CBF but could just not summon up enough fucks to give to actually do it.   Lurgy got the better of me.
I want to fit the break out/lightening/thunder box to make sure the heated grips switch with the ignition as well as the Aoocchi Apple player thinger I want to fit.   The Oxford grips have an auto switch off feature but I don’t trust it, rather they were on the key.

Shadow has been out on her bike all day in this weather.  She has the biker attitude.  I did send her a £10 so she could get some lunch out.   She has told me to stop fussing as she has layers on and is not cold. 🤣

Tomorrow am going to meet up with Sofia in the Alentejo somewhere, then heading to the Algarve for a couple of days and then avoid the rain for a few days more.

Just found out my Dainese touring pants are falling apart, fabric just tore open near some seams. Pretty disappointed, bought them in the end of 2021, and they have no more than 4 or 5 thousand kms. :classic_sad:

Our daughter lives 500 metres away in a small 2 bedroom house,  with their daughter (our granddaughter) and his 2 kids from a previous marriage they are over capacity.

Friends 🤔.....that is a unknown commodity for us. 😂

Is it just a coincidence that it happened after the Christmas gorging period

There is a upside to the situation,  we have no condensation on any of the windows in the evenings. 👍
