If they still make noise the misses will have to live with it. I think it will the cheap pads that are causing the squealing, as I said, I will give them another coating of copper slip, and get my wife some ear defenders

I doubt she would want to. She views this country as some sort of third world state. On being discharged from hospital she asked if we could arrange for her to see some proper doctors, apparently those who treated her inc the nursing staff ( who were brilliant), weren’t qualified as they came from all sorts of weird countries.

Well she is American so she knows what she is talking about, you should be grateful for her sharing her extensive knowledge with you.

She certainly isn’t short of opinions. I have to keep reminding myself that a lot of this is her dementia talking, but it’s bloody hard. Our new dog has been a joy throughout this living purgatory, I think he’s the only think keeping us sane.

Earache
Wife's outta town and no food in the house, so I take off on a 75 mile round trip to the grocery store. Got my stuff and headed home. Half way up the canyon the twat goes off to the road to the right, over corrects and shoots across my lane and then climbs a canyon wall. Gets about 15 feet up the wall, turns over and comes crashing down in front of me. Like 4 feet from me. Showered my truck with glass, broken bumper parts and pastic shards. Cor blimey mate, I nearly shat meself! He was okay but his wife lost a bunch of teeth and was trapped under the dash - which had collapsed on her, pinning her to the ceiling inside the car. Passerby went 15 miles down the road to find some cell service to call ambulance and cops while I waited roadside listening to her wail. Driver was kinda out of it and just walking around. Fucked up. 1
Catteeclan
Bet that woke you up. We were travelling back from Manchester in the car when the kids were younger. We'd just got through Kings lynn when a ford escort who'd just overtaken us had a blow out. It when shooting off into a field and done about 6 roll overs. We and others stopped and glad to find the lady driver and her daughter shaken and covered in glass but otherwise fine. It's the quickest I've seen my Mandi move, I stayed in the car with the kids as they watched it all too.

Buckster
I had the pleasure of a conversation with a conspiracy theorist the other day and when I say “pleasure” I mean WTF?!? Now keep in mind that this guy engaged me in conversation, I didn’t speak to him. Talking about going down the rabbit hole, I imagine it was like talking face to face with @zzzak. His entire life is dominated by complete fantasy where he is being sought by clandestine forces. He pretty quickly decided that I had pictures of him and that people had told me things about him even though we had just met and he had initiated contact. It was full blown mental illness. In a short time he asked me if I was police, military, mossad, a Freemason and no I didn’t feed into his paranoia, he was a complete fruitcake. The care in the community system has definitely failed, it might be time to go back to funny farms and lobotomies. By the time I got away from him I was open to getting a lobotomy myself.
