It was a nightmare for the few years preceding that date as I was running Computer Superstores in Gloucester and Cheltenham, and everybody who wanted to buy a PC kept blathering on about them only have a lifespan until 31st Dec 1999. I reassured the punters by telling them that the PC's would be well and truly fucked a long time before that date anyway.
Clive
In those days we did not have a computer, washing machine?, wife had to make do with a Hotpoint twin tub and hang the washing on a line to dry, so I doubt anything in our place had a chip in it. 2

Tango
We had a couple of nice days in Spain and didn't see 1 dago midget. I reckon that Pete is hording them! We visited a Fort and the Salvador Dali museum in Figueres. Then got a train to Barcelona the following day. Then visited Salvador Dali's House and a lighthouse nearby and then took the scenic coast road back to home, passing through the abandoned border post between Spain and France. 9

Not too much difference though, Pete. A word of warning for the Dali museum and his house......pre-book tickets, because they sell out! But I thought that they were definitely worth the visit. And, via the motorway, Figueres is less than 1hr30 from our place.

Skippy
Well an early start for us today at about 3.30am…………our Labrador suffers from seizures and although it’s been just over two years since she’s had a full-on seizure (mostly she just gets a bit wobbly for 20 mins or so) she had one today. Poor thing looses all control for about five mins and the noise is horrendous. She’s recovered now and is flat out snoring. Me and the missus are wide awake drinking coffee. It’s going to be a long, long day!

Or is the idea of shoving a pessary up a dogs arse something that no-one dares suggest?
