Still here.

Not good mate. I hope that they can sort her out soon. Best wishes to her, Pete.

Have thought about those but still undecided if I like them or not

I had an Octavia Vrs estate many years ago and I really liked it. The boot was huge. The only problem with it was that it was the diesel engined one and it didn't like a lot of town driving. The DPF would choke up and sometimes I just couldn't regenerate it. Other than that it was a good car.

I'm back!

She was on painkilling drips for hours then they did X-Rays and blood tests.

They found out that she's anemic......so they've made an appointment for her with the blood specialist in 3 weeks time.

She's also got some different medication for her back, so we have to see our doctor tomorrow morning with the notes from the Hospital.

What a fucking day......full up with the flu as well so I was struggling.

To make it worse, masks are now compulsory in Health Centres and Hospitals so I was struggling to breathe with that on.

Well hopefully it will get sorted out over the next couple of days and you can both get back to normal

The drips have mitigated the pain to a degree, but the upshot is that her backbone is now like a banana due to the arthritis.

And her old hip is totally shot so she's going to need another hip replacement soon.

She had the right hip replaced six years ago......now the left has deteriorated to the point where she's going to need that one done!

My wife had her knee done while wide awake (epidural) and chatting to the anesthetist 😂

She says that was the easy part, the pain during recovery was the worst, so bad she considered not having the other one done.

Luckily her hips joints are reasonably OK, her lower back troubles her from time to time, it is ankles and feet that she suffers with the most.

So we wish Mrs XTreme all the best for any future medical interventions. 👍

After my wifes 1st knee op she seemed to favour the non operated on knee more, which resulted in it wearing out even quicker.

At least she doesn't need the wheelchair or sticks now.

Pushing her in that wheelchair around Majorca & Minorca 😰 while on holidays was damn hard work,  but I was as fit as a fiddle then. 😂

I had to push the wife round Amsterdam Airport (which is the size of a small town) with that fucking Hernia.

I'm sure that's what caused it to get as big as it did.
