The Farmers are protesting and have blocked the motorway and major roads, so we noticed a bit more traffic through the village this morning. Anyway, we went across to the hyper Market in Narbonne a while back to get our weekly shopping. They had half the checkouts shut and a lot of security guys patrolling the place. The store itself was pretty quiet compared to normal, so we got our shopping and paid for it pretty quickly and headed home. The roads were unusually quiet, but we use the back roads to get across there. I'm thinking that the main roads around Narbonne may have been a different story!
