A bit of manual labor today as I've got to move the gravel back onto the driveway that was plowed up with the snow....that is now all melted.

Then out for a Ride on the 'Goose...🚴‍♂️

Started as usual with a good walk with our dogs and then I went for a massive full English breakfast with a mate who won a couple of free brekkies at some event he went to. Got to say….they were absolutely lovely and I haven’t needed anything else to eat all day!

Went from there with the same mate to get his vintage go kart seat reupholstered at a scruffy back street shop in a local town. Top quality work at bargain prices!

Home in the afternoon to cut some bushes and walk the dogs again in the early evening. We’re all in front of the log burner now and guess what, I’m the only one in the house that’s awake. No change there then.………..live football on the tv it is then!

Nope not even been close to it either

Don’t worry, when it happens I’m sure you will find someone else to blame.

Got to leave for Baza Hospital in an hour as the wife's got an appointment in Trauma at 12.30.

Seems like the additional wear and tear of the last year (compensating for me not being able to lift much) has taken it's toll on her left hip.

The right one was replaced six years ago and it looks like it's reached the point that the other one needs to be done.

We seem to spend our lives at Hospitals and Health Centres these days. I suppose it comes with the territory of getting old.

Back from the Hospital!

Wife's got an appointment for her anemia next week, and in 3 weeks time it's an X Ray and another consultation with the specialist about her hip.

So we're now on the run-in to her going in for the other hip to be replaced!

Lot of time going to be spent in hospitals again this year!
