It had less than 300 miles on it. As I can’t afford a real one this is the closest im going to get. It’s great fun, tho ( when it’s working) I doubt it would beat a Tesla away from the lights. There;s a museum in town full of the real ones - all sorts of cool crap in there. I have some pics of it around here someplace. They have lots of tee shirts for sale - gimme your size and addresss in a PM and I'll get ya one.... edit: added some pics
Sir Fallsalot
22 hours ago, Nute said: Broke down, car not bike ... bloody annoying. Fortunately have a recovery policy who gave me a projected wait time of 2+ hrs before the recovery truck could get there, plus apparently it was a £40 excess for recovery .. The tow truck showed up in about 45 mins so can't fault that, and the guy helped me push it into the garage once we got it home. Turns out he used to live in Finland (the place id love to live given the choice) and was a really nice guy. Had a quick look when I got home, fuel getting to the carb OK, carb working OK, nothing obviously wrong with the distributer but that is as far as I got before going out on my bike. I'll have another look at it later in the week That happened to my daughter going to the reading festival a few weeks ago, called the RAC and after about 30 minutes it started again before they turned up so she cancelled them and still had to pay the £40, her car's been ok since

A good few million bucks worth there! Do they ever drive them? Thanks for the offer of the shirt, really appreciate it but I wouldn’t want you spending your $ - it’s nice just seeing the photos. It’s motivated me to get off my backside and fix mine

YamaHead
Made it to Jubilee lake on Monday.....drove 10 miles of absolute dry washboard-rippled gravel road....rattle your fillings loose!! Lost 2 oars off my boat trailer that I didn't realize. Then the trailer tongue unhitched itself & was hanging by the safety chain...lucky I didn't loose it. Got the 2 oars back from a top bloke who was following us. So we get there, found our reserved campsite, get set up....Nice weather....few hours later a gnarly thunderstorm rolled in & proceeded to dump on what seemed like- right over the top of us for most of the night. Our deluxe tall air mattress went flat, & the tent canopy had found it's water-proofing limit, so needless to say....got up & decided: Had enough of the sh*t! Sometimes I have a hard time facing the "AGE" factor in my life....things hurt alot more than they used to. Did manage to snap a few pics of the lake before we took a shorter & overall smoother way home that will be the norm in future.... Local Fish hatchery we passed above on the back.... Got 2 weeks now to get everything dried out & back into working order....taking the boat to Wallowa lake that trip-- best time of year to go...NO tourists w/ noisy kids!...the place just empties out!
